Wycheproof delegation on way to Caloundra, QLD, for National Tidy Town Awards

Well their bags are packed and our intrepid Wycheproof delegates, Deborah, Ann and Whitney are about to board their plane to jet north to Caloundra, Qld, for the National Tidy Towns awards.
And is this a big deal! They are not only representing our great town but as the winners of KABV 2012 they are representing Victoria.
Wycheproof is a finalist along with other state winners:

  • Armidale,NSW,(pop 25600)
  • Longreach,QLD (pop 4344)
  • Hedland (Port and South), WA (pop 20200)
  • Victor Harbor, SA (pop 14500)
  • Latrobe, TAS (pop 3897)
  •  Wugularr (Beswick), NT (pop 450)

As you can see we are not the only small town with a big heart to make it to the National finals, see the KAB website for information about Wugularr.
All the best to our delegation as they wing their way north to fly the flag for Wycheproof and Victoria .
